Integrating Workday with Empuls for automated user data management

About This Integration

This integration automates the user account management processes in Empuls, based on the employee data available in Workday. With this integration:

  1. Add new employees to Empuls automatically, as soon as their Workday profile is created.

  2. Edit existing employee data in Empuls, simply by updating their Workday profile.

  3. Remove exited employees from Empuls based on their exit date in Workday.

Once this integration is enabled, the data will sync between Empuls and your Workday account every 24 hours.

Prerequisites for this integration

Please contact your Workday account manager and request them to share the below client details for your account:

Credentials

  1. Workday API URL

  2. Client ID

  3. Client Secret

  4. Refresh Token

Custom Report

In the workday portal, a custom report to be created for the user credentials.

  1. Create a custom report for a target audience. "All Workers" recommended. A subset can be chosen if needed.

  1. Choose Actions > Custom Report > Create

  1. Set Report Type to Advanced and check Enable as a Web Service.

  1. Choose the relevant Columns in the report
