Integrating HiBob with Empuls for automated user data management

Empuls and HiBob help you automate user data management and seamlessly drive people initiatives across your organization.

With this integration, you can:

• Automatically sync data to Empuls when you add new hires, delete exited employees, and update employee data in HiBob.

• Import employee birthday and work anniversary data from HiBob to celebrate these special days with automated greetings and gifts.

Once this integration is enabled, the data sync between Empuls and your HiBob account will happen once every 24 hours.

How to Set Up This Integration

Step 1: Log in to your Empuls account.

Step 2: Click on Admin Settings from the left-hand menu.

Step 3: Navigate to the OTHER SETTINGS section and click Integrations.

Step 4: Navigate to the HRMS Applications section and click on the HiBob app.

Step 5: Click the ADD HiBob button to start the integration.

Step 6: On this screen, enter API Key and the Authorization key. Click on TEST CONNECTION & PROCEED to select the data fields to be integrated.

Step 7: In this step, you will select the data fields to be imported to Empuls. Map the Empuls field with the corresponding HiBob field.

(Note. The number of HiBob fields in the dropdown depends on the permission level of the service user)

Click on Continue

Step 8: Define the filter of which users will be synced based on email domain/which email ids will be ignored.

Click on Continue/I’ll Do This Later.

Step 8: Choose either Send invites now (syncs users immediately and sends onboarding mails to new users) or Schedule invites later (syncs users in a temporary state without sending any emails. The temporary users will convert to real users and onboarding mails will be sent on the date and time chosen in the bellow box).

Click on Save and Finish

Step 9: Congratulations. The HiBob integration setup is successful.

How to edit this configuration

Step 1: Log in to your Empuls account.

Step 2: Click on Settings from the left-hand menu.

Step 3: Navigate to the OTHER SETTINGS section and click Integrations.

Step 4: Navigate to the Active Integrations section and click on the HiBob app.

Step 5: Click on the three dots beside the REMOVE HiBob text box. Then click on Edit Configuration.

Step 6: Make changes in the API Key and the Authorisation Key if needed. Click on NEXT.

Step 7: Select the data fields of your choice. Click on Save.

You will now see a message on the top-right of the screen confirming that the configuration update is successful.

How to disable this integration

Step 1: Log in to your Empuls account.

Step 2: Click on Settings from the left-hand menu.

Step 3: Navigate to the OTHER SETTINGS section and click Integrations.

Step 4: Navigate to the Active Integrations section and click on the HiBob app.

Step 5: You can disable the integration by simply clicking on REMOVE HiBob.

Step 6: You will be prompted on whether you really want to remove the integration. Click on REMOVE.
